Senior Trainer

Kdei Karuan is looking for a trainer to work closely with, Project officer and Program Coordinator in the team of Justice History and Outreach program in conducting project implementation. The project "Healing and Reconciliation for Victims of Torture of Khmer Rouge Trauma", a project that focus on trauma healing and reconciliation for victims of torture from Khmer Rouge time that uniquely combine the community based, holistic and collaborative approach with trauma healing services, truth telling, memorialization and history education. The project is funded by USAID for 36 months and carries out by TPO and KdK to communities in 15 provinces in order to produce new and synergetic results to improve the mental wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities who were effected by torture and violence during the Khmer Rouge time.

Consultant for Exhibition Design and Production

Kdei Karuna is currently seeking a consultant for the design and production of a mobile exhibition on gender‐based violence under the Khmer Rouge and its implications for Cambodian society today. The exhibition will form part of the project “Pka Sla Krom Angkar”, a proposed judicial reparations project of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, to fight gender‐ based violence and stimulate gender equity transformation for civil party victims of forced marriage under the Khmer Rouge.

Kdei Karuna (KdK) is currently seeking an artist/illustrator to illustrate the stories of Civil Parties (CPs) and Khmer Rouge survivors. The paintings/drawings will be used in a graphic novel for the proposed judicial reparations project aiming to reduce discrimination and to raise awareness of ethnic Cham and Vietnamese experiences during the Khmer Rouge.
